CAREERS
We at teamLab Architects are looking for members to think about and create the architecture of the future together.
teamLab Architects create spaces where digital elements (such as videos and software) that exist only on screens or in computer data are given mass and structure,
allowing multiple people to experience them simultaneously in the real world.
Roughly speaking, teamLab is responsible for the digital components in the screens,
while teamLab Architects is responsible for giving those components mass and structure in the real world.
However, these two roles cannot be clearly separated. Sometimes, the digital aspect determines the real/physical configuration, and at other times,
the real/physical configuration determines the digital aspect. Therefore, teamLab often becomes heavily involved in the real aspects as well.
The relationship between these two roles is always ambiguous, with the boundaries between them constantly crossing as the space/building is created.
Recently, we have even been creating works with uncertain shapes, making the distinction even more ambiguous.
